South America Research Programs: To build a research infrastructure that supports the economic development of Latin America and the research agenda of Texas A&M University by identifying and expanding opportunities for collaboration with public and private institutions in Latin America and by establishing Texas A&M as a driver of science and technology in Latin American region. TAMU/FACUAL (Cotton Growers Association of Mato Grosso in Brazil) Agreement: Was signed in 2007. FACUAL will sponsor students for masters and doctorate degrees in the Department of Agriculture Economics.
