DR. MIGUEL ALVAREZ

Physician & Scholar of Diabetes & Ophthalmology

 

           Dr. Rafael Chorne received a doctoral degree in Biotechnology with an emphasis on diabetes from the National Autonomous University in Mexico (UNAM). He has held faculty positions at UNAM, the American British Cowdray Hospital , and the Autonomous University of Coahuila. Dr. Chorne has authored and co-authored around 60 different works, and remains an active member in a variety of local, national, and international scientific and social organizations including the Mexican Association of Diabetes, Coahuila Delegation, which he founded in 1990. 

 

           Dr. Miguel Alvarez is a physician and scholar of diabetes and  ophthalmology. Dr. Alvarez has taught a variety of courses and coordinated multiple symposia throughout Mexico, such as the “National Week of Diabetes”. Additionally, he is an active member of national and international health and science organizations.
